Michael Kors Pitch

June 18, 2013

These designs were part of a winning pitch. While the new site isn't slated to launch until 2014, I worked extensively for over a year with the Michael Kors creative, marketing and business teams to gather requirements and define the user experience, interface design and digital identity of their new site.

Pitch Concept

  • Link and contextualize shopping and content in a seamless experience while allowing the customer to stay focused on her task in each.
  • Target different consumer groups from the loyal collection customer to the younger MK shopper. Respectively: A 'Dinner with Michael' video series puts the man himself in his fave jetset spots with his star muses; 'What's In Her Bag...' taps it-girl inspiration for trendy trips to Montauk and Miami with a perfect Pinterest tie-in.
  • A single-purpose 'Bag Finder' app makes it extremely easy for customers to locate the right accessory from MK's extensive handbag collection
